How does your music get written?
It's an entirely intuitive process. We are into meditation, fasting and spiritualism these days. The music comes freely from a higher consciousness or source intertwined with our own experiences and influences. We have been lucky enough to work together for over 10 years now (and not always on good music! We have created some truly shit music in the quest to try and make a buck, but luckily we found our souls again!) ......The process is without sensitivity and ego, out of many many songs written, we choose only what is best regardless of personal feelings.
What do you think of the current state of the commercial music industry?
It's an evil constructed and controlled by governments in order to dumb the world down and keep them enslaved to the system. A lot of big acts seem to be manufactured. Churned out by the conveyor belt of music schools (factories). The equivalent of Mc Donald's. Just as bad for your brain and spirituality as a Big Mac and fries for your body. We strongly oppose the way these huge fur wearing celebrities live, spending thousands in one day on bullshit whilst across the world people are dying of hunger. There is a huge financial imbalance in the world perpetuated by the commercial music industry and celebrity cultures. The super rich should become a dying breed if we are to reach true balance and happiness on the earth. So often when an artist who is intuitive and who creates real music manages to reach the top, they seem to die very quickly... Lennon, Kurt Cobain... It's easy to do the math when you look at the entire picture. There is definitely something fishy going on. Music, after all is one of the biggest ways to influence the minds of people. In a world where our tax money is needed to wage war, why would artists be allowed to influence the masses to oppose war and capitalism? People are misled into focussing on useless celebrity culture so that they won't see the truth, the real devastation happening right under their noses. The world needs to wake the fuck up... But we believe that's definitely happening fast, the world is changing. The Internet is a wonderful medium for connecting the ones who see the truth. Our new song "Let's Run" is all about this.... "Screw the money, let's run and remember who you are, let's not be slaves anymore. Let's run, screw their money and their laws, they can't stop us all, we outnumber them"
What change would you like to see in the world?
We would like for all government to be made redundant and instead have spiritual leaders like Graham Hancock, american red indians and shamans lead us towards a more spiritual, healthy existence where there is no speciesism, prejudice and war because more humans would look inwards to find good in themselves. To find their spirit. A world where we understand how precious the planet and animals are and how worthless money really is. Where people finally realise that we are just slaves to the system and that we need to break free by no longer allowing material things to govern us. A world where everyone has the opportunity to take part in an ayahuasca ceremony, to become enlightened and practise meditation. We believe that it is ridiculous that natural psychedelics are illegal, but governments are committing mass murder every day and allowing the amazon to be destroyed and the seas to be polluted - as Graham Hancock puts it: If we are not sovereign over our own consciousness, we are not sovereign over anything.
